Courtney Friel is an Anchor/Reporter at KTLA 5 News.  She joined the station in 2013 after working six years in as a Correspondent and Fill-in Anchor at FOX News Channel in New York City.  

 

Courtney grew up in Pennsylvania but first moved to Los Angeles in 1999 and has since worked at many TV stations, including entertainment reporting for Fox 11, E!, Extra, Oxygen, hosting "The World Poker Tour" on the Travel Channel, Court TV's "Saturday Night Solution", and contributing to FOX's "Americas Most Wanted".

Her first two jobs in local news were at CBS2 in Palm Springs and ABC7 in Jackson, TN, but she fell in love with the business while in high school as a student reporter for Channel One News.  

 

Courtney graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Political Science.  She lives in Santa Monica with her two children, Cash and Cameron.

From the moment they stepped onto the X-Factor stage in 2012, it was clear that Emblem3 was here to take the Music Industry by storm.  Performing their original song, "Sunset Boulevard," against show producer's wishes, Emblem3 immediately captured the attention of America with their profound talent and knack for following the beat of their own drum.  Their impact was undeniable as the group went on to sell out venues around the world and over 400,000 copies of their single, "Chloe (You're the One I Want)."

 

Comprised of brothers Wesley (22) and Keaton Stromberg (19), and long-time friend Drew Chadwick (23), Emblem3 has been producing music together as a band for almost a decade.  Growing up together in Sequim, WA, Emblem3's musical style is a blend of R&B, So-Cal Rock and Hip-Hop.  With this unique contrast, it's no surprise that these three guys from Washington have already begun to carve out a space for themselves in the Music Industry.

 

From the unforgettable lyrics to their genre defying melodies, the true driving force behind Emblem3's music is their passion.  What separates Emblem3 from other bands is their commitment to being musicians first and foremost.  Wesley explains his passion for music as, "Music heals broken hearts and is always there for you.  I just want to make music that makes people feel." 2016 is gearing up to be an exciting year for the band and their loyal Emblems - for the first time, the band will be releasing a new EP for free in February through their own App, which will be available in all App stores.  Soon after this release, they will be taking their music directly to their fans on a World Tour in April, starting in Japan and continuing through the Philippines, the United States and Canada before continuing throughout the world.   Keaton phrased it best, "There is just a sort of magic when the three of us are together and I hope to continue that for the rest of my life."

Nadia Mejia, Miss California USA 2016, is a 20-year-old full time model from Chino Hills, California. Nadia has worked for brands such as Nordstrom, PacSun, Tilly's, Reef, Wet Seal and Windsor. She is a spokesperson for the National Eating Disorder Association and one day she aspires to own a Latin American Fusion Restaurant. Nadia isn't the only beauty queen in her family! Her mother competed at Miss USA in 1989. Nadia will be representing California in the 65th annual Miss USA Pageant to be aired on FOX later this year. Olivia Stuck

 

Olivia Stuck can be seen starring as "Dawn Buckets" on Disney XD's "Kirby Buckets". She was also seen last fall in Full Screen's feature film The Outfield opposite Vine stars Cameron Dallas and Nash Grier.  Olivia is also a singer and will have music coming out in 2016.

At the age of 6, Olivia Stuck began her acting career at Starbound NYC in Toledo, OH where she found her love for acting. Olivia attended IMTA in Los Angeles in 2008 and won numerous awards for her young acting talent. Moving forward, Olivia relocated to the west coast where she currently resides with her family. Since her big move out west, Olivia has appeared in multiple commercials as well as film productions. She can be seen on DVD in "The Princess and the Pony".

Olivia filmed 14 episodes of a new tv series called "The Jadagrace Show" in 2010 where she co-stars as the best friend of Jadagrace.  This shows release date is unknown.

She  appeared as a guest star on Good Luck Charlie on the Disney Channel, and did a guest appearance on CSI NY. Olivia guest starred on Girl meets World as Missy Bradford in season one. She was in the recent feature film called Last Vegas starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas, Kevin Kline, and Robert De Niro which is available on DVD.  She plays Sophie, the love interest of Michael Douglas and Robert De Niro when they were younger.

Krista Marie Yu

 

Krista Marie Yu was born in Berkeley, California where she spent most of her childhood singing, dancing, and figure skating. After playing Claire in "The Nutcracker on Ice," Krista immediately fell in love with performing.

Krista recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama with a BFA in acting, and loves being back in California. She is elated to play 'Molly,' Ken Jeong's sassy, rebellious teenage daughter, in the upcoming series "Dr. Ken!"

Prior to "Dr. Ken," Krista had recurring roles on Nickelodeon's comedy series "The Thundermans," as well as ABC's "Cougar Town," plus she gave some great performances on "Marvel's Agent Carter," "The Middle," Amazon's "Hand of God," ABC Family's "Switched at Birth," and "Parenthood."

On the big screen, Krista can be seen in the comedy "Love the Coopers," starring Alan Arkin and Ed Helms, and the horror thriller "6 Miranda Drive" starring Kevin Bacon and Radha Mitchell.

Alex was born and raised in Del Mar, California. She attended the conservatory at "AMDA" (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Graduating from their Los Angeles campus in December of 2007 and "The New York University ", New York, where she received a BFA in Theatre in the winter of 2009. She is obtaining her Masters degree at California State University, Northridge where she teaches undergraduate classes. Alex is also a graduate of iO West's Improve program. She had done sketch/comedy work on shows, such as Jimmy Kimmel Live! (2015), After Lately (2011), Chelsea Lately (2013) and Showtime's House of Lies (2013): Flight Club. Alex was most recently seen on CW's Hart of Dixie and CBS' Two And A Half Men. Aside from TV shows and Film, Alex can be seen with her improve comedy team Pumps!
